  3. BAYWATCH'S PLAYBOY MOMENTS

  6.         For a show that prides itself on its family 
  7. values and Michael Landon-esque plots, some Baywatch 
  8. cast members, and even an occasional extra, have a 
  9. curious relationship with the decidedly 
  10. un-family-oriented Playboy Magazine. 
  11.         Among the appearances:

  13.         Ñ David Hasselhoff is interviewed in the May 
  14. 1995 issue of the magazine. In the interview, 
  15. contradicting the Michael Landon claims, Hasselhoff 
  16. says the characters on his show are "living the life 
  17. of fast food, fast cars, hot women, sun, sand, surf, 
  18. fun and action."

  20.         Ñ Pamela Anderson has appeared on the cover of 
  21. the glossy nudie mag five times now. She was first on 
  22. the cover in October of '89. According to a Playboy 
  23. spokesman, she has had three Playboy calendars, and 
  24. made a number of "newsstand special" appearances. It 
  25. has been reported that Anderson's Playboy shots got 
  26. her the Baywatch gig in the first place, and that she 
  27. used the money from her first Playboy appearance on a 
  28. breast-enhancement operation.

  30.         Ñ Erika Eleniak has appeared in Playboy at 
  31. least 12 times, according to Playboy. She was 
  32. "Playmate of the Month" in July of '89. She was 
  33. featured on the cover three times and featured in 
  34. three pictorials. She has also been featured in 
  35. special issues of the magazine.

  37.         Ñ Many Baywatch extras and guests have also 
  38. made appearances in Playboy. Said Playboy spokesman 
  39. John Champion, "There are numerous women in the 
  40. magazine and newsstand specials who have appeared on 
  41. Baywatch--I couldn't even tell you exactly how many. 
  42. Just within the last few months of Playboy magazine 
  43. women [featured], not necessarily the playmates, have 
  44. to their credit an appearance on Baywatch." 
  45.         For instance, Lisa Boyle is featured on the 
  46. cover of the March/April Playboy Book of Lingerie, and 
  47. in the buff on the inside. She is often a guest on the 
  48. show.
